Christkindlmarket

Yesterday we went to the Christkindlmarket for lunch. The Christkindlmarket is a remarkably accurate version of a traditional German Christmas market in the middle of downtown Chicago. It started small, eleven years ago, and has become rather popular. Maybe too popular. It was like Taste of Chicago popular yesterday, so it was nearly impossible to get around it. And it was COLD. So we took one lap around Daley Plaza, and then headed back to Hannah's Bretzel instead. The sandwiches are darn expensive, and so worth it too. And they have by far the best pretzels in Chicago.
