Getting Started

The other night, Maria was playing "Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum", the first piece from Debussy's Children's Corner. This reminded us both of the hysterical short film Getting Started by Richard Condie, in which the protagonist tries but miserably fails to practice the same piece. We hadn't watched it in years, and Ella had never seen it, so I dug up the VHS tape and put it on. We had a great laugh! Then Maria wondered about sharing it with others, and whether it was still "in print". This led of course to Google, which led to this online version. Please watch and enjoy!
