Tommy Muellner

Saturday afternoon Tommy Muellner played at Pianoforte. Muellner is a swinging, lyrical player who sounds very much like Bill Evans. The set was mostly ballads, which suited Maria and me just fine. Later in the set, bassist Larry Kohut joined Muellner for a couple uptempo songs. It was an especially pleasant set that both Maria and I enjoyed very much.
